MEETING NOTES:

Web site

• Terry got the site www.openptk.org on-line.
• Glassfish installed, need OpenDS.
• Derrick will install Identity Manger
• Need to create a wiki page to include links to the site:
  • Sample Apps
  • JavaDocs

Documentation

• Derrick working on the 1.1 docs. These need to be completed before working on 2.0
  • Architecture guide missing sections; WSDL-based web services, Logging package
    • JNDI, some work: Terry
    • JDBC, some work: Terry
  • Configuration Ref, good shape
  • NetBeans configuration guide, mostly done
  • Combine Install Guide and Sample Application Guide into the Application Guide

What to change when officially release 1.1

Leave on site:

• Home Page
• Governance
• Contributor agreement
• SVN
• Announcements (summary) for RSS features
• Issue Tracker

Move to wiki:

• Minutes (should be done)
• FAQ (need to check)
• Documentation
• Announcements (details), Scott to create wiki landing page
• Download page (links to actual war files), Scott to create wiki landing page

External Vendors

We discussed the process around how external developers can contribute code to the Project. The ideas include creating a special "branch" in SVN for "incoming" code.

The current ext folder contains external / third party related code that is maintained by the OpenPTK team.
